Relatives and Friends Visits to Elizabeth House
On your visits to Elizabeth House please remember that there are several areas and facilities that can be made use of.
Next to the stairs on each floor there is a pantry room, this is kept stocked with tea, coffee, milk (and occasionally some biscuits!) for visitors and relatives to help themselves to.
The Lambert Room is once again available for use by relatives and visitors. We would recommend it as an ideal place to sit in comfort and have a quiet chat with a relative when visiting. The Lambert Room can also be booked out for larger events and gatherings when required.
Tracy has joined our Activities Team
“My name is Tracy and I have been working in a care setting for the past six years.
I trained as a Holistic Therapist and am qualified to give Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
I have previously worked as a support worker for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems such as bi polar, dementia and schizophrenia. I am now able to combine using therapies and skills I have learnt here at Elizabeth House.”
Say hello to her when you see her and let her know the sorts of things that your relatives like doing.
We have been getting some interest in reawakening the Tea Rooms that we used to run in the past. If you fancy joining in in some way let Arleta, Tracy or Alan (the Bingo Man) know and see how you can contribute to this very worthwhile activity due to be held on Saturday September 3rd. Keep an eye out for an email from us.
